GLP2-T 10MG & 30MG

This research only product is supplied in a 3ml vial containing 10mg or 30mg of GLP-2 as a lyophilized powder.  Every compound undergoes stringent independent 3rd party testing in a US laboratory with verified 99%+ purity and QR link to the COA stamped on the vial

Description

GLP2-T is a dual agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor, mimicking these incretin hormones to regulate blood glucose, insulin secretion, appetite, and digestion in a glucose-dependent manner.

Mechanism of Action

·       Insulin secretion and glycemic control: Activates GLP-1R and GIPR on pancreatic beta cells to stimulate first- and second-phase insulin release in response to meals, while suppressing glucagon from alpha cells; in humans, GIP receptor signaling is particularly crucial for insulin secretion from islets.

·       Glucagon reduction: Lowers hepatic glucose production by decreasing glucagon levels in a glucose-dependent way.

·       Gastric effects: Delays gastric emptying, reducing postprandial glucose spikes.

·       Appetite and weight regulation: Acts on brain regions via GLP-1R and GIPR to suppress appetite, reduce food intake and cravings, increase satiety, and improve insulin sensitivity; also elevates adiponectin levels.

Key Distinctions

It’s dual agonism provides superior glycemic control and weight loss (up to 22.4% body weight reduction) compared to GLP-1 agonists alone, with GIPR activation driving much of its insulinotropic effect in humans (unlike in mice, where GLP-1R dominates). It is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide analog of GIP, modified with a C20 fatty diacid for albumin binding and prolonged half-life
